  • The Home Use Program allows organizations with software assurance on select Microsoft Office desktop and other eligible programs to enable employees who are licensed users of those programs to get a licensed copy of the software to install and use on a home computer.
  • New version rights provide customers with the ability to run the most current release of commercially available software.
  • Spread payments offer the option to make annual payments instead of one up-front payment*.
  • The Microsoft Employee Purchase Program offers employees significant discounts on Microsoft's most popular productivity and consumer products.

• Training
  • Training vouchers allow customers to obtain training on select courses from Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centers*.
  • eLearning consists of self-paced online training courses for employees to upgrade their skills and knowledge*.

• Support
  • Problem resolution support is available through online and business-hour telephone resources. Two incidents are available for Open Value customers, by telephone for Enterprise Edition servers, or by web for Standard Edition servers. Minimum five server licenses.
  • TechNet Online Concierge Chat is a self-help learning environment that includes Web-based assisted search and premium content web site access.
  • TechNet Plus is for server licenses with software assurance. IT professionals can post messages in online managed newsgroups, and receive answers to questions from industry colleagues. Subscription media offers deployment and maintenance of technical resources.
  • Extended lifecycle hot-fix support removes the 90-day timeframe for software assurance customers to sign up for two years of additional non-security hot-fix support beyond the mainstream period of five years. Customers do not pay for extended support unless hot fixes are required. Minimum five server licenses.
• Tools
  • Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE) is a Microsoft Windows XP Professional-based tool that allows IT professionals to build custom solutions that speed up deployment through automation.
  • Corporate Error Reporting (CER) allows administrators to capture error information for analysis and control which reports are sent to Microsoft (desktop only).
