Project Linus - Winner
Hearts at Home - Runner Up
of RK Dixon’s Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest!

Conducting business and administering programs at Project Linus and Hearts at Home will soon become easier. RK Dixon announced that Project Linus received top votes as the winning organization in the Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest with Hearts at Home as the runner up.
The makeover, for $30,000 (1st place) & $15,000 (runner up), was designed to improve the efficiency of a non-profit group by enhancing its technological capabilities and thus making it easier for the group to focus on its mission.
The Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest provided non-profit organizations in Peoria, Tazewell and McLean county a chance to win an office equipment and technology makeover. The makeover may include, but is not limited to: a black and white copier, a color copier, a printer, Windows ® business server, Cisco ® switch and firewall, IT consulting services, ongoing networking support, and other technologies to make their office run more efficiently.
Representatives from RK Dixon will visit Project Linus and Hearts at Home, assess their current office technology situation, and tailor the makeover to fulfill their needs. The organizations that reached the top FIVE will each receive a network-ready Lanier printer, valued at $400.00. All of the participating organizations will receive a gift from RK Dixon.
The Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest was sponsored by RK Dixon and media partner WEEK TV. For the complete list of all 57 organizations that participated, click here.
