Make My Non-Profit Run Better Participating Organizations

When the Make My Non-Profit Run Better contest began on June 27th, non-profit organizations from Morgan, Macon and Sangamon county, Illinois were in the running for the grand prize – an office technology makeover worth up to $20,000 and runner-up prizes of $10,000 and $5,000. Organizations encouraged supporters to vote for them online at the RK Dixon website. Using the online voting system, the list was narrowed to five finalists. The remaining organizations were each profiled on WISC Channel 20. Voting continued to narrow the top five finalists to three. Throughout the entire contest, the non-profits' supporters voted over 33,000 times for the participating organizations.
