RK Dixon now offering security assessments to
help businesses tackle information security challenges
Aug. 24 launch event will feature
information security tips and challenges

Peoria, Ill. – RK Dixon, a leading provider of IT solutions, copiers, printers, managed print services and pure drinking water systems, is now offering security assessments that allow local businesses to identify potential weaknesses in their information security infrastructure.

The objective assessments, which will be offered in partnership with FRSecure, will provide businesses with actionable insights on what type of information they have that needs to be protected, to what extent it needs to be protected and how to best accomplish this.
RK Dixon will introduce the product at a free Aug. 24 launch event at the company’s Peoria office at 8630 N. Allen Road. During the event, Evan Francen, president and chief information security consultant for FRSecure, will discuss the information security challenges in today’s business.

With news of information security breaches, regulatory and industry compliance matters, vulnerabilities, threats, and exploits growing every day, information security has become a growing need for any business.

“A huge amount of a company’s assets are information related, and either live on computer servers, the cloud or other data centers,” said Jeff Dixon, president of Information Technology. “Because of this, it is critically important that business owners take the necessary steps to ensure their information is protected.”
